    Elite 2 Sync Button Not Working When Turned Off

    Hello. While my standard Xbox controller works pairing and blinking leds without push the Xbox button and turning on the controller just press the sync button works but elite 2 controller doesn’t work with that situation. When I press the sync button and nothing no sync mode on and no blinking leds before the controller turn on. Is this a fault. If you got any elite series 2 can you try this for me? Before turning the controller just press couple seconds sync button. Write me fellas if yours work that way and I can send by warranty. Thank you all.

    That’s why for any question;

    I want to connect to my controller with ipad and stream. Every time I have to turn on my Xbox console and TTV in my living room when I press the Xbox button. this sucks. when I just hold down the sync button without turn on the controller so turnin on the tv and console bla bla, I can put it directly into pairing mode and I don't have the Xbox in my living room turned on.

    not one button, stick or paddles work but the controller is "on"= "home button" has light on...

    i can't turn the controller off

    when i open the accessories app there is only my standard controller displayed.

    connecting to xbox with usb cable doing nothing

    when i put them in the case: no "vibration"

    on the elite 1 you can simply remove the battery but on elite 2 it's impossible.

    is there a trick to turn the controller off and on?

    Just wanted to check. If you turn off all controllers and the headset, then turn the headset on, press the sync button on the console, then the sync button on the headset, what quadrant position does the headset sync to when all controllers are off? If it
    syncs up to the top left quadrant, try turning the controller on at the point and see if things start working for you.

    I had this problem before but I got it working after a while. Try turning off your console and turning it back on. Then, press the 2 sync buttons, one is on the controller and one is on the console itself, at the same time. If that don't work, turn off the
    console again and turn it back on and try to press each sync button in a different combination. Hope this fixes your controller problem.

    To answer your questions:

    -Yes. The controller is up to date.

    -Playing CoD: Black Ops 3 mostly, my friend also has a Elite Controller, and he does not have a problem.

    -Switching back & forth between slot 1&2 doesn't work, but using the sync button to turn off and on the paddles fixes it.

    You're correct that this is a feature for the Xbox Series X controller. Basically, your secondary device is the PC which you just need to press and hold the sync button for around two seconds.

    Yes, to re-sync it to your Xbox simply double-tap the sync button.

    Make sure to perform a powercycle on your Xbox if double-tapping didn't work.
