Elite 2 controller keeps getting returned unrepaired

I have an Elite Series 2 that I'm having warranty issues with. The controller powers off when the right trigger and right paddle buttons are pressed simultaneously. That doesn't seem like a combination that would happen often, but it does, and frequently enough to make it unusable. If the controller isn't plugged in then it won't turn back on at all until I plug it in. If it is plugged in, the power goes off for about 5 seconds, then it comes back on by itself.

It is under warranty until March 28, 2024. I've sent it in twice for repair or replacement, and both times it was sent straight back to me without being fixed. The second time that I got it back (today), it was wrapped in the same bubble wrap and same wrapping method that I shipped it. I don't even know if they unwrapped it.

Now when I go to the device page, it still says my warranty is good until March of 2024, but it will only let me claim a ticket on accessories, and it wants me to pay $44 for all the parts that I don't need - joysticks, paddles, etc. It won't let me do any kind of claim on the controller itself.

Please help, I just want a controller that works

The service center inspects your product upon arrival. If no service is performed (repair or exchange), they will return the product and send you info about why the service wasn’t performed.

Returning it seems to be the only legitimate option. Flydigi looks to make a very nice controller that will do everything the Elite 2 will do but has even more buttons and is capable via REWASD.

So I think I will return this Elite 2 and go with Flydigi since they seem to actually care about PC gamers as customers.

You should return it and get a new elite controller are buy a different controller.

If so you have till January 31 to return or exchange it if you purchased it from the Microsoft online store.

You need to learn how to use Walmart and stop dealing with Ms customer service. 1. Go to store and buy a new controller and keep receipt. 2. Keep new controller and return old controller and get money back.
