Elite 2 controller issue on Alpha

    Elite 2 controller issue on Alpha


    I'm on the alpha preview and was playing starfield then the message pops up saying I need a controller to play this game. I just had the recent update a couple hours before this post and it repeats. Closed the game turned off the controller then back on then on the game half an hour fine then happened again.

    So, restarted the xbox and then it glitches on home screen like the select box was going constantly left. Had to turn off the controller to stop it, all was fine yesterday before this update any others with the issue?

    Just to share got my series x controller out of storage had it updated and the same issue happens so not a elite 2 controller fault.

    I'm in the the alpha skip ahead , I've not encountered any issues with my elite 2 controller.

    Dose it do the same when wired up to console?

    Resyncing worked for the moment. its still super touchy but isnt freaking out

    Have you tried resyncing the controller since the update? I’m wondering if the stick was slightly left during the initialization and now reads center as left.
