    Elite 2 controller extended warranty


    I purchased the elite 2 controller in July 2020 WITH 3 years extended warranty. This means that the extended warranty expires in July 2023. I do not understand why the extended warranty serial number is different to the controller as I have only ever purchased one controller. For almost a year, I have tried to contact Microsoft (minimum 20x) via chat function (‘speak to a human’) but no success. In February I sent the controller to be repaired/ replaced under the warranty but it was sent back a week later with nothing done not even courtesy of a note. I then sent it back (paid P&P £7.65) with a long complaint letter with attachments. The controller was returned last week again with zero done, no note or even acknowledgement of the complaint. Why does Microsoft make it SO dam hard to be contacted to honour the Warranty, a warranty that costs extra! Why sell the warranty if is is unable to be used. I need Microsoft’s email address for complaints procedure.

    I hope they will acknowledge this!!

    I would recommend an Elite series 2 WITH A WARRANTY. The series 2 is a nice controller to own but has a history of breaking down at the worst times. If you get an extended warranty it will make the purchase worth it.
