    So i'm beyond frustrated right now, i spent 180$ 2 weeks ago to go buy this stupid **** **** xbox elite 2 controller for my new PC, when i tried to hook it up , the blu tooth wouldnt stay connected even though i was 2 feet from it, and everytime I'd press
    A on the controller, the Xbox Home button would come up even though it wasn't mapped to do so. So after wasting hour and hours on that first one, i decided to take it back and exchange it for another one in hopes that I just got a dud. Well here we are 2 weeks
    later having a different problem, it says that my controller is hooked up to steam but just doesnt work when i load up rocket league, ive tried hard plugging it in and using the Blu tooth. I'm just so confused on how you can spend 180$ on a controller that
    cant **** connect to play games in 2020. Why is it so **** hard to get any piece of technology to just work when it comes out of the box. This is the first time i've bought anything Xbox branded in a long time, and i see why this company is so trash if they're
    changing 180$ for a controller that cant simply just connect to a PC.

    I've tried submitting a ticket for help, but they literally dont accept Support Tickets for the controller request, so it goes to say that I'm beyond mad that I've wasted my time, effort and money trying to get this stupid **** controller to work, can someone
    in this community page please help me Elite 2 controller doesnt work?! :( since Xbox themselves dont even want to take the time to help me. I'm about to just go take this controller back and never buy anything Xbox branded every again.

    Yes, I've done this. I've literally spent hours looking up videos and forums :(

    When I play Fortnite if I press A and move forward/backwards it'll controll my master volume for my computer, and sometimes if I mash A too much, it'll just randomly bring up big screen mode for Steam. I've looked at all my button layout controls in all of
    my settings, and I've tried even resetting and uninstalling and reinstalling. I just build a brand new gaming PC so nothing I have is outdated or what not. It just sucks because I've spent all this time and money and I'd just like to play games like Tony Hawk
    Remake and Rocket League on a nice controller, like what are the actual odds of the first Elite controller being a dud, and then getting a 2nd thats also a dud? I really cant tell if I'm just stupid and crazy if this product actually just sucks. I have a very
    specific look im going for in my room and the Elite 2 matches it really well. Its really going to be a huge let down if I cant get this to work.

    thanks for reaching out to the forum. At first im sorry you‘re witnessing such problems with the controller.

    Did you already install the Xbox Accessories App for PC? You can remap the buttons to fix your A problem at least. Have you installed the latest update for
    the controller?

    Did you find a solution to this problem? I updated my Elite series 2 yesterday, and now I have the exact same problem. Elite series 2 is recognized as a regular xbox controller and does connect via bluetooth, but doesnt work. Connected via USB-c the XBOX accessories app doesnt even recognize it...

    Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but that didnt help.

    Used elite first gen for years and just got good at replacing broken bumpers. I had high hopes for the elite 2 but sadly my elite 2 right bumper clicks but doesnt register input most of the time after only 2 months.

    submitted warranty claim, and will have them replace it - but even though i prefer the feel of the sticks and triggers on the msft controller, i am switching to razor wolverine.

    not matter how good it feels if a contoller doesnt control, its worthless.

    Microsoft knew the controllers were defective and still sold them as a good product. they wont do anything to fix your controller because its most like out of warranty thats why the warranty was so short. The whole elite series 2 was a scam
