Eligible Purchasing Invocation Mechanisms for "FREEdom Rewards" Mission (Winter 2016)

For the "FREEdom Rewards" mission of winter 2016, are there restrictions on the way the purchase flow is invoked (as in, it must be invoked from the Store application versus the in-game purchase flow)? Is this a way for developers to opt-out specific add-ons
    from participating in this program?

I am referencing the "Which Xbox Store content is eligible for this offer?" question in the FAQ, where it states: "This does not include purchases made within the game, as well as
purchases made using premium or earned currency." Is the first part referring to purchases made solely using in-game mechanics (that is, it doesn't involve Microsoft account billing) and the second part giving concrete examples of that? The FAQ is at: Xbox Live Rewards

I ask because I am trying to determine whether "Warframe: Nekros Prime Access Pack" is considered eligible for this mission, and if
so, if there's a distinction in eligibility between using the Buy button on this web page versus launching it via the in-game purchasing flow: Buy Warframe®: Nekros Prime Access Pack - Microsoft Store

The "FREEdom Rewards" mission hub is at: Xbox Live Rewards

    :)

    Didn't get FREEdom Rewards points

I purchased the "Fire & Ice Prime Vault" add-on for Warframe on 12/26/2016. However, I have not received the 2,000 FREEdom Rewards points (Free Pass category) that I was supposed to get for purchasing an add-on for a Free to Play game.

    Rewards points mission not crediting

There is a rewards mission to receive 15,000 points for pre ordering and purchasing 3 eligible games prior to their release dates. I did this with Madden 18, destiny 2, and NBA 2k18. On the mission progress screen I'm only being credited with purchasing
2 of the 3 games though, therefore I'm not receiving the 15,000 points. Please help, thanks.

Eligible Purchasing Invocation Mechanisms for "FREEdom Rewards" Mission (Winter 2016)

    Hello cubeof11,

Since we are configured to use purchases directly from the Xbox store, we are only tracking purchases associated to the free to play game from that storefront. You are correct that only specific add-on purchases are being tracked. Currently, for the game
Warframe, we are tracking the top add-ons listed directly on the store page for that game at (Get Warframe - Microsoft Store). I can confirm that the
prime access pack is not currently on the eligibility list, since it is purchased from in-game. While the in-game purchasing does bring up a link to the store, this link is only accessible in-game, and cannot be accessed through the store alone (attempting
to search "Nekros Prime Access" on the store, for example, does not return the url you provided as a result).

Apologies for the confusion. While I can confirm that both tigris and galatine prime are awesome, this pack is unfortunately not eligible for this offer as it is a in-game purchase, and will not award Rewards Credits.

    Trove = Reward Points?

    Hello WoRThY TacTicX,

Since Trove is a free to play game, it is eligible for the FREEdom Rewards offers for Credits. However, since game consumables are not eligible for MyVIP, those purchases will not award MyVIP progress.

    Freedom Rewards mission

    Hello Richy Dynamo,

We can confirm seeing multiple referrals from your account. Have your friends checked the email they have for their billable account email, as well as their junk mail folders? Keep in mind that our program uses the billable account email contact that you
have specified on your Microsoft Account at (https://account.microsoft.com/billing/addresses?ref=amcyourinfo#/).

    Missing reward points

    Hello KevEmo,

As Smwutches says, in-game consumables are not eligible for Rewards unless as part of a special offer. For example, your purchases have successfully gone to the FREE PASS and FREEquent Player offers in the current FREEdom Rewards offer located on the MyMissions
page. However, pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions, are not eligible for MyVIP, and will not award MyVIP payback or progress.

Digital Purchase History and Hardware Purchase not counting towards MyRewards, VIP or MyCredits!

    Hello eggrush,

You mention hardware purchases, but there has not been an offer that awards hardware purchases since winter 2016. It sounds like you may not be familiar with how our program works. You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

    1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
    https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/
    .

    -or-

    2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as MyVIP payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

MyVIP had a recalibration for the last few years. At the end of the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015
and December 2016. We did not recalibrate this year (December 2017). Since you are a zero star member, you do not get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/).
