Electric Volt controller connect to Win10 via cable

Hi,

Almost any USB C to USB A cable (your standard USB Phone/tablet charge cable) will work fine for PC or console gaming with a Series X type controller. I use a 2M USB C cable to connect my Series X controller to my PC.

I don't have any Bluetooth issues, but using a cable does avoid changing the batteries so much. 😁

The power cable won't matter at all if it fits and has the right fuse in because the power supply unit controls the output and you can't go above the mains input of 230-240 volts. Don't jam the cable and check that it's an exact fit, if it is it will work
in the same way that any power cord does... that being it will allow electricity to travel through it and have a fuse that blows if the current is too great.

Hello Igor, try to follow the procedures below.

First turn off your Xbox One and also unplug it from the electrical outlet.

Then remove the batteries from the controller and for 1 minute keep pressing all the buttons on the controller and moving the controller knobs.

Once it's done, download the Xbox Accessories PC App and if you have a USB cable, connect the USB cable controller to your PC.

Put the batteries in the controller and see if the App recognizes the controller and check if it has updates.

Once updated, remove the USB cable and try to connect it via Bluetooth, after connecting via Bluetooth you can reconnect your console to the electrical outlet.

Since the USB port puts out a max of 5 volts at 1 Amp or less, it is highly unlikely it was an electrical shock. You touched metal and discharged static electricity most likely.
