    Hi.

    Elder scrolls online released a new DLC (Necrom) the 20th.
    the servers were very busy at release.. many people were playing and did most of what they could in the dlc.
    The issue is.. It got released without Xbox achievements for the first 30 hours. Without any warning that achievements would be added.

    It got fixed, but sadly the people who played on release are now forever locked out of getting these achievements.

    The way i have understod ESO to work:
    - There is a list of in-game achievements that carry across from all your characters. The second an in-game achievement pops, that has a simillar xbox achievement, ESO tells xbox to unlock the xbox achievement.
    If something were to happen during this time, that makes this "trigger" not happen and it not unlocking, you cannot "meet the requirements" again, since the in-game achievement only unlocks once per account.

    When they released the DLC without xbox achievement support for the first 30 hours.. soo many people have unlocked the in-game achievements, but cannot do it again to make the "trigger" for xbox achievements to happen again..

    Example. first thing i did was to run into the new Trial on Veteran difficulty.. and unlocked the in-game achievement for completing it. Doing it again, even on a different character, will not unlock the xbox achievement, since the in game is already unlocked.

    I have contacted ESO support, who willl only give a standard "copy paste" reply.. = we cannot do anything, ask xbox support.

    i know xbox support cannot do anything, since the game hasnt told xbox i have met the requirements.

    What can we do here?
    Can microsoft/xbox please contact the developers of ESO and demand that they fix their (sorry for the language use) F**** up.. ?

    I preordered this DLC, ofc i wanted to play it on day one.
    why am i being punished by ESO for giving them money ?

    After thousands of hours spent on the game, and alot of money for ESO+ and updates to the game.. this, is really fustrating..
    The game was about to be completed ( 100% of the xbox achievements ) in a weeks time..
    but now i will never be able to do what i have spent sooo many hours workting towards..
    just because they F*** up on the release?

    As you mention, unfortunately Microsoft support can't do anything about it, neither can they contact the game support and ask them to add the achievements to your account or something similar, the only solution that could exist is that you delete the progress and do it again, which is really absurd because as you mention, you have invested hours of your time in completing the whole game.

    I understand your frustration, unfortunately if this achievement system was not implemented at launch there is nothing to do.

    Remember that this is a public forum and as an independent consultant, I am an ordinary user just like you and I am not part of Microsoft's technical support team, so I do not have access to the system to help you beyond the information I have provided.

    If you have access to a console, you can delete the data associated to your profile with these steps

    Go to "My games and applications", press start on the game where the problem occurs and then select "Manage game and add-ons", there go to Saved data and delete the saved data.

    I leave those steps in case you need them someday :)

    i udnerstand there isnt much to do.. i just needed to get my frustration ouut.. xD

    sadly you cant delete your pofile or save since eso is a massive multiplayer game.
    only thing i can think of is to start a new xbox account, but i have 540k gamerscore.. thats alot of work to redo.. xD
