Edge update is SO BAD

I use streaming platforms to watch movies. Since this ridiculous update I am unable to watch anything on the main website I use. It says "try to turn of adblocker and refresh the page." The site loads two adverts into different tabs regardless so how the actual movies won't play makes zero sense. Every time I visit another tab when I come back I have to hold down the start button for the mouse to appear again. The whole page isn't even visible the whole thing is ruined I'm so annoyed this update has messed everything up. How can I revert to last update is this even possible Microsoft fix this abomination it's unusable and not sure friendly AT ALL!!!

What 'streaming platform' are you referring to?

If it's one of the big subscription ones you can play these via dedicated apps.

In your case, I have a feeling your site isn't one of these. Your reference to the website asking you to disable adblock is a sign of an illegal (in the civil sense) streaming site. Well known subscription streaming sites don't have adverts or open new tabs on their own.

The new Chromium based browser has more advanced features regarding html5 and Java script. These may not play well with dubious websites.

Depends is it running ancient flash or.html5 ? It shouldnt have any issues running html5

If it ancient flash then ask.the webmaster to update their site

Unless you are runing Netflix whichcase it uses html5 or their app

Flash is a security risk no longer supported even on PC

You run those sites at your own risk

No other devices including mac. Will run flash anymore

xbox discs have copy protection on the outside edge, so it may be a small smidge or fingerprint

Also, if the disc has gine bad, they usuall go bad from the outside where the edge of the layer bond is.

Yes that did the trick.

Since then, on Sept.13.2018, when the last update was done I have no Edge program.

I asked twice for help on the Feedback Hub but still have no reply. I tried to reset but that did not help and I cannot find

Edge in the App Store. Edge came with this computer. So I am forced to use Firefox. Too bad.

I have a white background picture with the E in the center but not browser or tools shown. Just for your info.

I have also seen youtube videos that say how bad EDGE is, and it is so bad that there are programs out there designed to REMOVE Edge from Windows PC's. If Edge was designed for Windows PC's or XBOX 1, it was poorly designed, and leaves you wondering what
Microsoft was thinking - They simply could have allowed IE 11 to be installed and forget EDGE - ESPECIALLY when Edge does NOT have any support for add ons or seems to be incomplete - I would NOT use EDGE for anything - Give us a Real Browser!!! NOT a Broken
down, non-working, crippled version of a new browser which does not work!!!
