Edge on Xbox series x refuses to update

Discus and support Edge on Xbox series x refuses to update in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; Months have now gone by and still I get a notification on Edge on Xbox Series X that it needs to update.     Edge on Xbox series x refuses to update


    Months have now gone by and still I get a notification on Edge on Xbox Series X that it needs to update. It says to restart the browser to do so, yet it just brings me back to the Home screen with the same little arrow telling me Edge needs to update. Let's face it, It doesn't, won't and doesn't even try. I look around the web and find plenty of other people with the same unresolved problem. Clearly, the Developers have completely abandoned Edge Xbox in place of working on Edge on pc. Between this and Bing on The Xbox being an absolute disaster, it leaves me cold for the future of the physical Xbox.

    Edge on Xbox series s won't update

    As far as I'm aware Edge on console is updated automatically when a new Xbox console System OS update is released. Usually every month for General Availability release

    The version I'm using right now, on a Series X, Version 104.0.1293.44 (Official build) (64-bit) is the latest available to Alpha Skip Ahead Insider members.

    I have never gotten any notification to update Edge on console.

    keep getting this error code 0x800705aa

    Factory does not work and has never worked. Xbox tells us to do that becasuse the lazy scumbga refuse to fix there crappy series x.

    I have owned a series x since day 1 and have done a factory reset over 70 times and still get multiple issues the lazy scumbags refuse to fix.

    No audio on video streaming sites on updated Xbox Edge app

    Yes, I also am having this issue with the new Microsoft Edge. It refuses to play any sound at all since the latest update on the Xbox One. And this is an issue because on the previous version of the app had no issues playing the sound from these sites. So how do I fix this? The tabs aren't muted and all my other audio works fine it is only Edge refusing to make a sound.

    Microsoft Edge can't update on Xbox Series S

    When I open the browser, using Xbox Series S, in the upper right corner there are 3 dots (...). From those dots a box opens saying it was unable to update the browser and to reinstall Microsoft Edge. The link takes you to a Microsoft page where you can download Edge, but you have to first select a Windows version. Xbox is not listed as it's a modified Windows operating system.

    If you "X out" of the notification Window saying it was unable to update and to reinstall Edge. There is a red notification tag on the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner indicating something needs to be done. When you click on the 3 dots at the top of that menu it says "Microsoft Edge is out of date". When you click on the message it opens the box telling you to reinstall Microsoft Edge.
