    Edge No Longer Has Sounds For Video Sites After Update?


    So a few video sites I use to go to before my edge updated were easier to use on the browser vs the apps etc funimation I like the web base app better it cause the app always crashes on my xbox one. So After it updated it uninstalled couldnt find it again. I looked for edge but it wasnt in the store. I went back through my install history and found it. but thats another problem so I go to a few browser sites for video watching and I get no sound what so ever?

    I even made sure it wasnt muted. I then go to youtube browser to see if a setting may just but muted. Nope youtube site worked but netflix and funimation didnt? I did the netflix just to troubleshoot it mind you.

    I've had this same issue, as well as, more recently, a site I use often to watch streaming video no longer plays the videos. The video window has no play button or ability to play. The site tells me to clear my cookies and cache, which I can find no option
    to do for Edge. I have deleted my history, which does nothing to help.

    I have a problem with internet explorer on xbox 360

    internet explorer is no longer supported by most sites and fully loses support in December, you will never be able to browse with that browser and they will never update the 360 to the edge version as there is not enough ram to support it.

    Yes, I also am having this issue with the new Microsoft Edge. It refuses to play any sound at all since the latest update on the Xbox One. And this is an issue because on the previous version of the app had no issues playing the sound from these sites. So how do I fix this? The tabs aren't muted and all my other audio works fine it is only Edge refusing to make a sound.

    Figuring out my "Disc Drive Issue".

    You got any way of recording a video or anything of the sound? After the March update I recorded videos of disc drive seeking noise and after my videos were passed on to the devs they released a fix for it during the April update.

    My Xbox too has started making a random 1 second bumping sort of sound but it happens intermittently and doesn't seem to be causing any other problems, I'd be interested in seeing if it's the same as what you're talking about though, if it is, it's likely
    caused by an update and can be fixed with another update.
