Il problema è che dalla xbox vedo tutte le cartelle condivise ma non i file condivisi all'interno di esse. Sembra che dalla xbox tutte le cartelle sono vuote.

Ho fatto una verifica ulteriore e mi sono reso conto che anche sulla PS4 e l'altro Pc nella stanzetta non vedo più i file video come prima.

In pratica vedo solo le cartelle e sottocartelle ma la Xbox 360, PS4 e Altro Pc non ne vedono il contenuto, per loro queste cartelle sono vuote.

Inoltre se io nella Xbox metto un DVD masterizzato con tutti file Video anche quest'ultimo per la Xbox e Ps4 sembrano essere vuoti.

Non è che è cambiata la politica dei nomi da dare ai file? lunghezza, numero di caratteri possibili ecc...

Window media player recognize all media on my pc

The Xbox (and other media devices) don't access your media files directly. Instead they use something called DLNA, which requires your PC to have indexed your media library.

Then only the index is read by the Xbox (or other media players), and according to that index, you choose the files to play.

If you moved files around, or the index became corrupted, the Xbox can't find the media files anymore.

Please start the Windows Media player on your PC, and check that in that Media Player library, your media files are shown and are working correctly.

If the Media Player can't locate your media, the Xbox 360 can't get to the media as well.

troubleshoot guide for sharing media on Xbox 360. If it isn't working there may of been an issue with the update. We recommend to

try and roll back the update and re-update the Xbox 360.

To reinstall the latest Xbox 360 update, follow these steps:

1. Clear the system cache. To do this, see the "Clear the system cache" section above.
   
2. Roll back and then reinstall system updates. To do this:
   1. Press the Guide button on your controller.
   2. Go to settings and select System.
   3. Select Storage.
   4. Enter the following button sequence: X, LB, RB, X, LB, RB, X.
      
   5. Select the option to roll back all system updates that are installed. The console will restart automatically and then download the updates again.

ho provato a condividere i file da un altro pc in un'altra stanza e sia la xbox 360 che la ps4 questi file video vengono visualizzati.

Ho provato a masterizzare sia un DVD +R che un DVD RW mettendoci questi file ma sia la xbox che la ps4 non li visualizzano.

Sembra che se provengono da questo pc non vengono visualizzati in nessun modo. Sia dalla xbox che dalla ps4 vedo solo le cartelle condivise ma per loro queste cartelle sono vuote.

Non è che per qualche motivo il mio pc mette una qualche impronta o qualcosa che non li fa leggere da questi dispositivi?

Se io faccio una reinstallazione su se stessa di window 10 lasciando tutte le app e configurazione, il problema potrebbe risolversi?

Quello che sta succedendo sono sicuro che deriva da qualche aggiornamento windows che ce stato di recente ma non so esattamente quale.
