Easier Game Share

We all love gaming. We all love sharing our games with either friends or family and playing with them.

The problem is Game Sharing on Xbox is cumbersome and sometimes frustrating if not setup correctly, so I propose a change in the UX of setting it up.

Currently you must assign the Home console of the person you are sharing with as your Home console and vice versa. My proposal is to change this to simply adding a new field in settings specifically for Game Share.

Current:

Settings > General > Personalization > My Home Xbox

Proposed change:

Settings > Game Share > Shared With [ Gamer tag]

I know licenses are based on the console, but if the license follows the user, and if the license comes from a Game Share, but this would make Game Sharing much easier to do or if one chooses to stop sharing.

It could also stop toxicity by tying the game license to the account, thus if one person is banned than both accounts are if the game is shared.

I just believe the UX could be better in this regard.

No thats is a bad idea

One you never ever hand over your private info period

The gameshare system is the same regardless of console

You need physical access to the said console and you aren't allowed to hand over your personal login info over the internet

What you are proposing is a security risk gameshare isn't meant to share with the neighborhood and there is limits upto.,5 per year with a random chance of another 5

You DON'T SHare your account with strangers

Generally you don't want a security risk.that lets anyone randomly sign into your console unsecured and assign a different console as your home.without your knowledge

This is whyy all consoles require you to have physical access to said console

You put yourself at risk by handing over your account info to strangers or.even family

You don't assign home console.by gamertags you do it by sign in onto the said console.and assigning it as your home console

No-one should.have access to your profile or password nor should.you be sharing with strangers

Getting to 15 in each mission is easier to do with a partner. Others are way easier alone since you don't have to share the points

Lending a physical game is only as easy as the distance between real life friends. Sharing digital so much easier logistically that is, and with a decent sharing set up. (Stares up in wonder of what could have been)

If you have a core group you game with I would start there and make a club with your friends so that you can share stuff easier.

There is some games you can play by sharing that way. It is recommend to gift subscriptions to make it easier to fix issues that might arise that way
