Early adopter promotion

I'm early adopter aswell, got the Project Scorpio Edition. Is there a way we can apply for the promotion as early adopters?

Ran across this while writing up my own separate support issue, but this issue is something I'm curious about too if this promotion is true, as I too would like to claim such promotional content if I'm eligible as I too am an early adopter of the Xbox One
X, pre-ordered the Project Scorpio Edition of the Xbox One X myself through the Microsoft Store, figured my console would have automatically registered since I purchased it one the same account that my XBL account is tied to, guess I assumed wrong, but anyhow...

A little research I've come across suggests that they're rolling out the promotion in waves. I've also read that some believe that people have to first register their Xbox One X serial numbers first before the promotion code is sent. Figured I'd throw that
out there so you can take those steps while you're waiting for an official support response. I'd send a link but not sure if that's against forum etiquette, but I believe you if you search "register my xbox one console", find the Xbox support link, it should
take you right to the page to do so.

But again, I'm just some guy trying to help, Keep an eye out for the official response from the Sales & Promotion support staff. I look forward to seeing what they have to say so I can follow their instructions myself to claim that reward.

The Limbo code was given out randomly to Xbox One Day One owners. While you may already be considered an early adopter, the game was still given out randomly among the early adopters. I'm sincerely sorry for any frustration this may have caused.

Which is pretty much how early adoption has worked for every piece of new technology ever released in recent memory.

Early adopters pay full price. Early adopters are subject to bugs and other facets of the technology that doesn't work as advertised/expected. In return, early adopters get to use the technology on the first day it's made available.

This is the way it works. This is the way it has always worked. The complaining about this makes no sense at all.
