EaFC24 Won't Read disk

Hi,

Bought our son FC24 for birthday, put it in today and console won't read the disk. Tried other games and they read OK, even tried the game on other sons console and that one reads it and started the install. Other console won't do anything though ?

Is it possible to get a digital code to download the game onto his console ? I can supply pics of product and proof of purchase on DM.

First, it is important to point out that a physical game can't be converted to a digital one because the game license is attached to the disc itself.

Besides that, would I know, is an Xbox Series X or Xbox One the one that doesn't read the disc?
Additionally, the other console that read the disc, is an Xbox One, or a Series X?

Moreover, is this EA FC24 for both the Xbox One and Series X, or only for one of those consoles? You can check this by looking at the box.

Hi,

The version we have is the xb1/ x version.

Both consoles we tried installing on are xbox 1s so the disk is the correct one as it worked on younger sons xb1

I can suggest some potential fixes that may help you:

1. Physically power cycle your console:

Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.
Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

Important: If your console is in Sleep mode, the above steps will shut the console off completely. Sleep mode, or the ability to turn on your console by saying “Xbox on,” won't be enabled until you restart the console.

2. Perform a factory reset by going to Settings > System > Console info > reset > pick “Keep my games and apps”.

Note: Make sure to know the credentials for every profile registered on your console.

Um Its not my disks that won't read. Its my downloaded games that won't play, and any game that is installed. My downloaded games and installed games register as unreadable disk. Aren't they supposed to read off of the hard drive.
