Discus and support EA Desktop won't recognise my EA play subscription from gamepass in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I cannot get EA play, although i have linked my accounts properly.     EA Desktop won't recognise my EA play subscription from gamepass


    I cannot get EA play, although i have linked my accounts properly. I have also tried getting Xbox support on a call, but everytime I enter my phone number it says "Something went wrong on our end. We’re working on it." The amount of work requiered to get in touch with someone at support is ridiculuos. I hope i can get some help here.

    Sign out of both the Xbox app and the EA Desktop App, restart your PC and then sign back in to the Xbox app alone and try getting an EA game

    i want gamepass i gotta choose between ea play and gamepass so i go with gamepass i bought ea play from steam for a month but now the subscription is over and i want my progress from steam and origin to go to the gamepass ea play and i dont know if that is going to work and if i will lose my level and progress to the online games

    Keep in mind not all xbox regions are supported by gamepass

    Okay,

    You won't have Gamepass.

    Gamepass is a subscription that provides access to a library of games that can be played without purchasing them. Similar to Netflix.

    While "Gamepass Ultimate" provided access to that same library and also gives access to Xbox Gold and EA Play.

    Ea Play is also like gamepass that offers their own game library that can be accessed while the Subscription is active.

    With Gamepass Ultimate, you'll have Gold, Gamepass, and Ea Play all in one Subscription.

    However, what you purchased (Xbox Live) is Xbox Gold. This is a subscription that provides access to online gaming.

    It is not Gamepass so if you are looking for an active Gamepass after redeeming that 12-month Subscription, Gamepass will not show but Xbox Live or Xbox Gold should show.

    Is that showing up at all?

    EA account wont link to Xbox account

    If you had a previous account linking and it doesnt say "EA play with game pass" under settings-> my account -> my membership in EA Desktop app then I suggest

    - Clicking Manage from the settings in EA Desktop app to go to the EA customer portal website and under Connections disconnect the xbox account

    - Then log out of EA Desktop and exit both apps

    - Then install a EA game from xbox app

    It will log you into EA Desktop and link accounts giving "EA play with game pass" membership and start downloading from EA Desktop app

    Note it says you can only ever link one xbox account to your EA account
