    EA Account Password Reset Not Working


    My son’s EA account password isn’t working. I have reset it successfully but it still isn’t working. We just keep resetting and trying over again. Any thoughts?

    Password reset not working

    Aaaaaand I've figured out what was going wrong. My account was made using an old, defunct email address.

    I would have realised this earlier, but for some reason I was being allowed to reset my password for an account that didn't actually exist.

    Might want to fix that, by the way.

    Now I just have to delete the temporary account I made so I can use my current email address on my proper account.

    That's odd. I even unlinked my Xbox account from one EA account to link to another and it worked fine.

    Does clicking ''reset password'' take you to a page to change the EA account password?

    Does this happen with the new EA account you created?

    If you can not find the password for your EA account then you would need to contact EA to try and reset the password through their system.

    As noted by Zenosos, you will need to work with EA and their help websiteto get your password reset for that account. You can find their steps on how to get into your locked account here.

    Hi cheifbigshot

    EA's support site states that EA will send you a password reset link to your email address. There is no mention that you need to verify by phone in order to reset your EA account password. If you no longer have access to that email, then you will need to
    fill out an account recovery form with EA.

    Please review EA's support guide when you can't log in and need your password reset: I can't log in to my EA Account. The forms and reset
    link is found on that support article. If you need more assistance, you will need to contact EA directly by clicking the Contact Us link at the bottom of the support article I provided.

    As mentioned earlier, nobody on the forums can send a reset link for your EA account. You will need to follow the instructions on the guide provided and contact EA support if you still need help with your EA account.

    In order to update your EA account you will need to contact EA, Xbox has no access to EA accounts. Instead go to EAs website and go to login page and click forgot password to request link to reset.
