Ea account help

The account connection is made on EA's system, so it can only be unlinked from EA's end.

Try signing into the EA account using your Xbox account: https://www.ea.com/login

If you are able to access the account, follow the steps on EA's help page to unlink it: https://help.ea.com/help/account/unlink-gaming-accounts-from-ea-account/

When signing in to the EA website, choose to login with your Xbox profile. This should allow you to access the linked EA account.

EA has instructions but it does sound like you need to contact them to do it. I'd give it another try since they do link to these instructions from their account help "If you’ve changed your email address or no longer have access to the one you used to create
your account, swap emails from one account to another."

The thing is this there are certain features that are blocked by EA for child accounts.
