EA Account error when logging into Fifa 2020 (and all games)

if I understand the question correctly then your question is about the online services for Fifa 2020, if so, then it seems that the main Fifa 2020 servers have been shutdown in November 2023, this is based on me searching on the internet. This is something controlled by EA

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums.

FUT is a feature in FIFA games that is managed by EA through your EA account, which should be linked to your Xbox Live account when you first start up a FIFA game. The FUT application is also managed by EA so I'm not sure what restrictions could be in place
for child accounts, but either way I'm pretty sure the FUT application requires you to log in to your EA account, not your Xbox Live account and this could be the issue.

I recommend contacting EA customer support or post this same topic over on the FUT Xbox Community forums to get an answer from other Xbox FIFA players like yourself:

I believe so, I had a friend who has an EA account just to play Fifa online and he doesn't remember the password and nothing he can't log in, but just for him to log in with his Microsoft account, it connects automatically, and that's since Fifa 14, maybe you can do the same, so you can play the old games or games you don't want to use the new account. Because, to be quite honest, the EA account has no function except for us to play online.

Umm Fifa isn't the cause of the hacks. EA's website got hacked a few months back now and the hackers stole a lot of account data, and they slowly worked their way through the data trying Log ons and passwords, and because people used the same ones on both
sites, accounts got stolen. Fifa 12 was just the game of choice that the hackers bought stuff with.

Are you sure it was EA's support? Because they have been nothing but useless when I contact them.

What do you mean, you're 'trying to download FIFA 13 Ultimate Team'?

Do you have a digital download of FIFA 13 ?

Do you get any error message? Where are you when you are 'downloading'? Is it in-game? Is your Gamertag linked to your EA/Origin account?
