    EA Account Associated with GamerTag

Alright, I know that people are usually sent over the help.ea.com for these inquires, but they currently can't figure out my issue either. For some reason, the EA account associated with my Gamertag has been changed. Literally yesterday I could play Apex
Legends, but today it says my account is invalid. When I called EA customer service, they said that the email associated with my this gamertag is NEARLY IDENTICAL to the one I am trying to give them (*** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***) but like, one letter off. How on earth did
this happen? How did the email I've been using for ten years suddenly change by one letter, to an email that I don't use, nor have ever used, nor probably even exists? They can't tell me the exact email for security purposes, but they told me that it was pretty
much exactly the same as the one I was giving them just different.

Is there a way to figure out what email they might have been seeing for the EA account, or better yet, to change it back to the original one? The one that I am currently logged in on? I just tried a couple different EA games and I can't play any of them anymore.

    :)

Cannot play games - says I'm too young!

I've created a new EA account but now I don't have a gamertag associated with it !!!

    New gamertags

The beta didn't. But that's probably because it's a beta.

It should, but in order to create a new account i would need a new gamertag and email to associate with it. At least according to ea.

    New gamertags

that's unfortunate as that's now the only way i can play ea games online forevermore. I deleted my ea account months ago and that, according to them, is the only solution: new gamertag with new email address (even though a new gamertag will be associated
with the old MS passport address which is the email i used on ea's log in). No BF3 for me then.

XBOX and Microsoft accounts all mixed up.

    Greetings AdamStewart92,

Sorry to hear about the problems with making sure the proper accounts are connected. It can be confusing at time, especially if you throw in extra Microsoft accounts/GamerTags in the mix.

Let's see if we can clear some stuff up. So, there is always 1 gamertag associated to a Microsoft account, however a Microsoft account can have multiple emails associated to it (including ones outside the @outlook.com ones Microsoft sets up for you). Please note, that you can change gamertags for a Microsoft account, but you can switch gamertags. This means that the specific gamertag, friends, purchases, and anything associated to that account stays with that Microsoft account.

Also, an EA account can only be associated to one Microsoft (Xbox) Account. This can be easily changed by unlinking and linking accounts at the EA support site.

My suggestion is to start by getting the Microsoft account situated out first. Go to account.microsoft.com and review the order history. Ensure you notate which account has FIFA purchased on it. This will be the account that is able to play on your Xbox.

Once this is figured out, login at the EA account support site here and ensure that you have the proper EA account linked to the Microsoft account with the FIFA purchase. The complication that you might run into here is that EA tracks their save data on their servers and any progress you made would be associated to that specific EA account.

Once those are linked and working, I would recommend putting the email address you want on your Microsoft account in the Your info - > account info section. If it is already associated to another account, you would have to log into that account and remove it (you can create a new email address to replace it so it can be removed if it's the only one there)

I would also consider marking the non-needed Microsoft account for deletion here to prevent further confusion in the future if the account is not needed. Of course, only do this once you confirm everything is linked correctly and no purchase history or other information is missed.

EA Says that im not old enough

EA uses their own service you log in with to access EA games. It uses that age to determine if you are old enough to play their games. Issues are common with children under 13 playing battlefield. Basically the answer is the same, you cant change the age
on the EA account. you need to make a new one there that's old enough and associate the new account with your gamertag.
