    EA access subscription payment issue


    Signed up for EA access subscription today

    4/22/2018 for$4.99 and was billed $5.64 for service from April 23 to may 4 that's only 12 days for full price.

    **** , I was going to buy the year subscription for$29.99 but now I'm really just thinking about cancelling all my accounts.

    Xbox Live Gold Subscription Issue

    I can see here it says my payment option with that subscription is not valid, which is odd since I've been buying Gold with it since I got my XB1, furthermore, I have a recurring EA Access subscription with that exact card.

    Xbox EA Access Issue - Glitch?

    You would have kept EA Access until the end of the subscription even though you turned reoccurring payments off.

    Hi Fellow gamer,

    Thanks for the update on your issue purchasing EA access. If all other forms of payment except your phone are showing, then it isn't available to use for the subscription. You can try a different method of payment such as a credit/debit card
    or maybe a paypal account. You can view the
    EA help page     and at the bottom it has contact us. As phone payments is relatively new it may not be available to pay for subscription as of yet.

    Why does MS ask for a backup account for gold membership.

    Microsoft ask for a secondary method of payment to insure that the subscription (Gamepass, EA Access, Gold memberships, etc) will continue once the gift is expended. As for accounts, I have yet to run into such issues.

    Since that's a charge for a game, it's not a recurring payment. You would only have a recurring payment if you purchase a subscription for gold, game pass, EA Access.

    If you do not want EA Access anymore, you should be able to cancel it on
    account.microsoft.com     then select services and subscriptions, and under EA Access select payment & billing, then select cancel.
