Discus and support EA Access annual renew subscription - Over price charged on credit card in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I recently renewed my EA Access annual subscription.     I recently renewed my EA Access annual subscription. Total fee was R$ 59.00 - with taxes already included, but my credit card was charged on R$ 61.60.

    I couldn't find anywhere on support to ask about this difference, so decide to do it here. It is a minor value, but i need to know if i can trust the service about the values it charges on my account. Since the service is for my xbox, i decide to start the
    demand here, and not on EA support directly. Thanks.

    Will Xbox Live Gold Cards work with EA Access?

    xbox support via twitter told me that EA Access requires something that can be renewed monthly or annually....basically they want debit or credit so they can just auto charge you if you forget about it

    I have the following problem:

    I have got an annual subscription of EA Access since September 1st 2014. This year the account was automatically renewed. That's ok, but my credit card was charged in September AND in October, with 24,99 Euro each.

    Hello,

    For Auto-Renews such as EA Access, or Xbox Live require a credit or debit card. (Or PayPal if you have it). The card is not charged if you cancel it in time for only 1 month to be charged.

    Any subscription you buy on the console will automatically turn on Auto Renew. In order for that to work, there must be a credit card on the account it can charge when the account auto renews. Even though it is a free month, you must have a credit card
    on the account to start the subscription.

    When that free one month is finished it will renew into a paid 1 month subscription and charge the payment method you added.

    EA Access can only be purchased via credit card/paypal or by purchasing a prepaid EA Access subscription card from a retailer. Currency on your account cannot be used to purchase third party subscriptions.

    Overdue balances are only possible if you are subscribed to a service like Gold or Game Pass. When you purchase a subscription through Xbox it starts a recurring subscription. If it comes time to renew the subscription and you haven't turned off auto-renewal
    ahead of that, the system will try to charge you. If they can't charge you, you accrue a balance you have to pay off in order to get back online or use a prepaid card for that service.

    Based on the price, I'd bet he took part in the promotion for Game Pass Ultimate for $1 ($14.99 is the regular price and would be the price it would renew at). Since auto-renewal wasn't turned off, the subscription tried to renew. You can view any transactions
    and subscriptions on his account at http://account.microsoft.com A subscription can be paid with funds from your Microsoft account balance which is possibly how it was started if
    he doesn't have a credit card or Paypal on file, but the overdue balances can't be paid with that method.
