    as per title , i was on the Omega dash and had a problem with h/d so fully reset and then it crashed on an update so downloaded the OSU1 and proceeded to offline update but continuously get E106 and then changed to E101 at 6% of the update , ive brought another hard drive and set that up correctly but soon as its connected back to xbox it gets the DEV o/s ( at bottom off the pic) so wont take the OSU1 , has anyone found away around this yet ?

    I participated in the Xbox Insider Program, and my xbox crashed and did not call anymore, I tried factory reset and it appeared the error E106 00000000 80070570, I also tried the offline update through OSU1 and appeared the error E101 00000504 8B050041.
    maybe it is because the version that had in my xbox is more current than the version of OSU1, since I participated in the Insider.

    what can I do to solve this problem, will I have to wait for OSU1 available on the microsoft website to arrive in the same version that I have of INSIDER?
    So, is it booting up? getting the dashboard displayed?

    insider xbox one x update to 10.0.1734.4056 from 4054 fails, offline update fails with E101 as well

    I've ran into the E101 error a couple of times when offline updating and it tends to happen when the osu1 file is a lower version than the one listed on your boot menu.

    The OSU1 update is the one recommended for the E101 error. Os version 10.0.1734.4056 went live 05-07-2018 so it should be in the osu1 file on Xbox support, it's worth a shot if you haven't tried it with that version. Otherwise it's a trip back to the factory
    to have the drive sorted.

    Sorry i can't think of anything else you can try other than using a different USB drive or changing which slot you put it in when you try the update.

    There was an insider on here yesterday whose console got E101 error going from insider OS 10.0.1734.4054 to 4056. Now that the 4056 is available to all he was able to fix it with the OSU1 file for the offline update at xbox support. as long as your firmware
    is lower than the last official update you should be able to fix it.
