    E102 on console enrolled in Insider with no way to access Insider Account


    Hello everyone! I was pointed to the sub by a support member. I have a One X Project Scorpio that started displaying errors last night. Right now it’s displaying E102. Power cycling, soft and hard resets have no effect. The only option I’m unable to try is the USB OSU update. I purchased the console from GameStop as a referb and it worked perfectly for over a year. However it is still enrolled in the Insider Program and I have no access to the account that enrolled it. The USB update is greyed out. Any help would be appreciated!

    TLDR: E102 unaffected by cycling and resets. Console enrolled in Insider with no access to said account.

    I have an original Xbox one console. I do not remember if I am enrolled in the insider program at the moment as I haven’t been able to access the console for a while. I was originally fixing an error e101 but it began to swap between e102 and e105. I do not own an external storage drive for the console.

    Is it possible a different account on your Xbox One enrolled into Xbox Insiders? If so, try signing in with that and access the insider hub from that account to opt out.

    Xbox Insider Program    , the console will remain enrolled in the program until the next update. Therefore, your console may still be enrolled in the Xbox Insider Program. This could explain why the system update is not working correct. The best option in this
    scenario is to reach out to the Xbox Insider support team through the
    Xbox Insider subreddit    . If you can access the
    Xbox Insider Hub App    , you can provide feedback through there. Be sure to let us know the results NikkRJ!

    The OG is the primary account that game shares with the S. Wouldnt the OG be the insider since everything is basically ran through that account.
    No. That wouldn't have any effect on the Insider program. The console has to have the Insider Hub and be enrolled in the program.

    Xbox Insider program     because the Insider program has been known to cause issues with the console more frequently than those that are not enrolled. This is due to the Xbox Insider users downloading either the alpha, beta, delta or the omega versions of the
    operating system software. You can check if your console is enrolled by downloading the Xbox Insider Hub app. Your console's serial number will be displayed
