E102 00000C01 80070003 offline system update option disabled.....how can i update my xbox...

Regarding the offline system update method, please make sure the USB drive doesn't have any files stored in it, only the system update file should be in it in order for it to work Also make sure that the USB drive is formatted to NTFS format on your computer.

One cause of that is a failing hard drive, but obviously I can't say if that's what's causing your particular issue.

As annoying as it is, 10 years is not a bad lifespan for a physical HDD.

AFAIK, the rules of this forum don't allow us to post self-repair steps, but obviously there are other forums out there.....

When you follow the links above it states the page has moved or no longer available. I search for Error codes and the link to E102 brings me back to the start page. So no this has not been helpful. This was delivered last week and it has been pretty useless
since I got it. Hours to load games and then difficult keeping the thing running. HELP. I spent lot of money when my xBox 360 was so much better.

Just a heads up, this error usually comes up as an indicator that the Xbox is already having a hardware or software failure and mostly end up for repair.

If it will not let you start the update anymore, I would suggest to update the console offline.
