What we could do with is the OP's hardware specs.

Actually Intel APU's will 'cut it'. Valorent is actually quite modest when it comes to hardware requirements.

The system requirements page of game lists an Intel HD Graphics 4000 as a minimum for 30fps. This was an APU included in the 3rd generation of Intel processors. Unlikely this is a stable 30fps though.

They need graphics hardware that is equal or better than Intel HD4000 or AMD R5 200. The R5 200 is an old AMD desktop graphics card. This is hardware from circa 2012-13. Any modern APU from intel or AMD would be able to run Valorent easily. It doesn't actually need a dedicated graphics processor.

Try to look for the update manually within your driver's list:

In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager.

Select a category to see the names of devices, then right-click (or press and hold) the one you’d like to update. You will see the Display Adapters category there.

Select Search automatically for updated driver software.

Select Update Driver.

If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.

Reinstall the device driver

In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager.

Right-click (or press and hold) the name of the device, and select Uninstall.

Restart your PC.

Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

Typically s your gpu any good enough

The system requirements for xbox pc games is nvidia or amd gpus

None of which use the generic driver

Intel apus don't cut it

Go to the manufacturer of your gpu website and download the correct drivers

If it ain't an amd or nvidia you won't be able to run most games

Both have custom software and installs for their gpus

I've got X11's & X12's... I can confirm that the X11's are supported. I checked this out for Cloud and did post the results in one of the many... many headset adapter threads... So I can understand if you didn't see it. X12's are basically just updated X11's.

The list shows DX11's which are just the ones with the Earforce DSS included.

I own the X42 and it works just fine with my Xbox One Controller with the Stereo Adapter. I can't really tell if I'm getting 5.1 surround. I couldn't tell before when I had the WiFi Adapter connected to the back of my Xbox One. Once you update the controller
with the Stereo adapter connected all you need to do is connect the headset to the adapter. You don't need the WiFi adapter anymore. I think the WiFi adapter sucked to begin with. Too much whining and crackling.

I also tried this out with my older DX11 wired headset. In my opinion the DX11 works better because I can run it off the system sound, get surround sound that is noticeable. is more comfortable, and it sounds better in chat. Plus I don't need to worry
about feeding the damn thing batteries.

I do have one unique issue. I have two Xbox One Controllers. I updated both at the same time using the same process. One controller will work with the stereo adapter and the other will not. There is no way to back out the firmware update to try again.
It is entirely possible that the firmware update is your issue and not the headset.
