DVD disk unrecognized, error 03-80-00

    DVD disk unrecognized, error 03-80-00


    So heres a strange error I encountered just recently. The Dvd movie disk of Rio I have played many times before on my 360 elite system, no problems until today. Figured it was dust or something so I cleaned the disk, still got the error. Tried a different
    dvd disk, that one worked. Put the first disk in another console (ps3) that seemed to read it just fine. Decided to put the disk in another 360 elite system (my brothers) yup that one read it too just fine.

    I have a dvd disk that just refused to be read by my own 360 system for some odd reason, the disk is clean, the system can play other disks, and the disk can be played on other systems. I just don't get it.

    Gears of War unrecognized disc?

    Hi! Everyone.

    I bought gears of war 1 original but when i insert disc to xbox it gave me that error
    "unrecognized disc? status code: 03-80-00"

    I had a problem like that too but i was using HD with an HDIM cord. It would say unrecognized disc and give me the 03-80-00 error, but when i switched it to 480p or 720p instead of 1080i it would work.
