    DVD/blu-ray playback freezing and audio Xbox one s


    has anyone else had the issue with video cutting out audio then freezing with audio turning back on to go to the video juttering until it catches up to the audio ? I have a Samsung 4kun55ju7500fxza and lg soundbar

    Xbox One S - DVD & Blu-ray audio out of sync - DVD audio/video sync worse

    UPDATE: Xbox One S returned. No solution for audio sync issue on DVD/Blu-ray playback.

    After scouring the internet I cannot find a solution. The Xbox Support seems to be correct. There was an issue with the Xbox One S where the audio was not in sync with the video on DVD and Blu-ray playback. I returned the Xbox One S.

    Hopefully few other experience the issue.

    Xbox One: Blu-ray and DVD movies

    I would check out the Xbox page for Blu-ray playback regarding regions. But yes, your Xbox One can certainly play DVD and Blu-ray movies.

    Hey The Valderian! Are you trying to watch in 4K or are all movies having this issue? Do you have another TV you can try the console on to see if the issue is with the console or the TV? Post back and let me know!

    Yes I do I have a PS3 but it might have done it once but wasn't paying attention. But will do random glitches while streaming

    Xbox one S blu-ray audio/video Sync problem

    I contacted support & tried all their suggestions including a full system reset. The audio lag is slightly reduced for Blu-ray disc playback, but a small lag still exists on blu-ray.

    However the audio lag on DVD discs is much worse. I bought my Xbox One S 3 days ago & support told me to return it for a new one.

    I have the Xbox One S Battlefield edition (military green Xbox). I'm curious if you have the same version.

    DVD playback quality is still atrocious.

    You seem to have taken this a little too personally Listed.

    Besides you seem to have misunderstood the subject. The OP is not complaining that blu-ray playback is better than that of DVD. Rather that the One's DVD playback ability is not as good as standalone blu-ray players.
