no one except the developer in the certification team have any idea of the answer to your question, and neither of them post here.

If you want updates on your certification you need to ask the developer as the certification team has no public facing arm, and as it is confidential information for the developer unable to be shared by Microsoft

The developer would've received reports that what they needed to change to achieve certification, so they need to do that and resubmit.

The extended lagtime _routinely_ attributed to Xbox Certs falling behind other platforms could be claimed as "quality control" as Steam has less strict standards, but Playstation does not, and they're 2 weeks faster.

When many AAA games are released, they crash / work improperly, it doesn't appear that any quality control was done.

Yes, catching all bugs is hard, but do studios still have to pay $50,000 for a certification? Same-Day Certs and hotfixes are granted to AAA titles.

It just looks like priorites are allocated to larger, Microsoft-affiliated studios while smaller studios are pushed to the back of the line.

Which falls in line with the upcoming update removing 3rd party hardware access, but still allowing Xims and Strikepacks for cheaters. I just hope history isn't repeating itself from the Java days where anything unrelated to Microsoft/Windows closely is executed via incompatability.

Is there a time frame for how long the certification process is? The devs of Dungeon Defenders have gotten no news from Microsoft.

It would be great if Microsoft made these games free in September, The Escapists, Dungeon Defenders, Sim 2, and Destiny. If they only picked one of the four up on my list make it The Escapist.

P.S. The main games I want are The Escapists, and Dungeon Defenders being backwards compatible from 360.
