    Due to change of phonenumber for securety can't pay for new month xbox gold untill 9th jan 2019


    My security features make it when i do a payment on microsoft acc i get an sms with a code, that phone died together with sim-card and is not retreavable. So yesterday i changed my phonenumber and it said my security features are locked until 9th of januari
    2019, i though oke good for you guys but wasnt really thinking ahead because i had to re-new subscription of xbox gold after that.. I bouth a giftcard €10,-(bought & uploaded before changing feature) thinking i could re-new sub after that. Answer is no, option
    is to go back to my old phonenumber, but that's impossible and the reason i changed it anyway. So now im locked in can't play with friends untill a week and 2 day in the new year.. and don't know if buying an xbox gold card and triying it this way will work.
    I dont want to waste my money there's enough for re-sub in my acc that i can't use now...

    Suggestions or maybe an answer?

    The 30 day waiting period is to protect accounts from being hijacked when too much security information is changed too quickly.

    You could revert the change and then talk to Xbox support about removing your 2 step verification that requires your phone (to stop the sms that's needed for purchases), or you will need to wait that 30 day period.

    It's best to create a new thread for proper assistance, but if you purchase Ultimate it will convert your gold into Ultimate as well (ie. if you buy 1 month, you'll have Ultimate until Jan. 2021). You won't have to pay again until after that ends.
