dude hacked into my account and bought himself modern warfare (more info)

So I was just playing 2K and I was in mypark just shooting around, and i see this guy add me, i was like oh he probably just added me from the neighborhood to play with (basically i thought it was no deal) and i just did me stuff and ignored it. A few
hours later my brother comes into my room and is like, "can you check your account if you spent 60 dollars?) I was like huh okay (I had his card saved because we used it for ea access) and i check my order history, and I see that i gifted the guy who added
me modern warfare?!?! I get really confused and I check to see that I somehow added him back. Currently sent a refund request we'll see how it goes, but I viewed the security stuff and I was the only one who logged in? I saw that his xbox was in my devices,
which i quickly removed, but I had double verification and I had no notification of this thing happening. Just really confused and a bit terrified. Idk if this is really a discussion, but just really wanted to rant and hear what you guys think.

I'm this has happened to you. But please be aware, you can't just get hacked. You had to do something first to allow your account to accessed by some other unauthorised persons:

These can be but are not limited to:

Having a weak and or easy to guess password.
sharing your account to friends or people you don't know personally.
Using the email address and password that you use for Xbox on multiple websites, some of which may have limited security features which have then shared your account details with others.

If you feel your account has been compromised change your account password ASAP.
DO NOT share this account with anyone else and DO NOT
use the same password on other websites.

For extra security and peace of mind, I suggest you enable two step authentication on your account.

Other than that, you'll need to
contact support.

hi i also am having the same problems i bought modern warfare 2 and i been playing it for ages and as of today it has been removed from my xbox go and redownload it and within a split second of it trying to download it says cant download modern warfare 2
could i been hacked but i have no idea

You should be more specific, if you bought Modern Warfare as a disc. You have to have the disc in the console when you want to Modern Warfare. If you bought the game digitally, be sure to check your email for order confirmation and/or Xbox Live Notifications.
