    Hello

    I have PS3 controller and it works find the first time i plug the controller, it identified as "Xbox 360 for Windows" in control panel. But after i update my pc it wont recognize as a controller and it change the device name into some random number as audio. Better DS3 didnt detect any controller

    That's weird since ds3 should recognize as a gamepad.

    Even on android

    But yes as mentioned in pc you need to go to ds4win for help not sure on chromebook since it's not supported there either

    I personally got dual sense to work on android devices but never tried on chromebook

    I'm playing GTA V then my controller suddenly disconnects and now my Windows 10 PC recognizes my controller as an audio device. I also have the same device name (XBOX 360 for Windows) and the "20170726905959" controller name as an audio device. I also tried installing ScpToolkit, removing, disabling, uninstalling the audio device and still having the problem. This problem is driving me crazy because I just got this controller last month. Any fix?

    You need to go to ds4win forums for help

    Since this is NOT an official supported device

    Ds4win is a remapper using a wrapper drivrr

    Not officially supported by Sony or ms

    Having the exact same issue, controller was working fine, but after a recent update (also this month January/22) it stoped even being recognized as ps3 controller, it also shows up as an audio device with the exact same name "20170726905959"..

    So this was def a update that broke it somehow, a fix would be highly appreciated.

    You'll need to reinstall the controller drivers and also update or reinstall your Windows drivers. Since it is a PS 3 controller being used as an Xbox 360 controller, there's no official troubleshooting for it. Reinstalling the drivers is your best bet.
