DtsX right rear speaker not working

    DtsX right rear speaker not working


    Xbox series X, Onkyo Tx-NR676, TCL 55R635, Monoprice 5.1.2 system (5.2.2 since I had a spare sub, same model). All firmware/software latest stable public builds.

    Having an issue within Xbox audio settings where enabling DTSX works fine, however the output works everywhere but the right rear channel. The left rear channel works perfectly, but the right does not, only with DTSX selected. ALL other audio options through the Xbox work flawless and are recognized appropriately by my AVR. Meaning Dolby Atmos plays perfectly, as well as dolby digital, Dolby surround, etc. Only DTSX has the error where the right rear speaker will not play any sounds at all.

    No right rear sounds during the test videos through the actual DTS app on the Xbox, and no right rear sounds when testing using the Xbox built in testing feature. Any advice or anyone with similar issue would be huge help to maybe narrow down the issue, as I have seen absolutely no one else posting about it. The fact every other sound setting/decoder works absolutely perfect, and only DTSX is causing an issue with the right rear speaker is rather strange indeed lol

    Sorry to hear you are having issues with audio using DTSX. Does this occur when playing games, watching media, navigating the console UI or all of the above? Have you tried switching the Left and Right speaker to see if anything changes?

    Watchdogs Sound Issue

    I have not had that issue. I have an issue with the game not being in surround sound. The game just works through my left and right speaker, subwoofer and center speaker. No rear audio whatsoever.

    32 inch for gaming

    i got a 32 in vizio at walmart cheap and a great tv. also get a tv that has the speakers in the front of the tv not the rear, i was gonna get a 37 in vizio but the speakers on the 37 in were in the rear. have the store put the sound on a rear speaker tv
    & front speaker tv and you'll hear the difference.

    I'm not sure what the problem could be since you're getting audio when playing Fifa. I'm not having any problems with Forza 5 coming through all 5 speakers. Hope you can figure it out.
