DTS Sound Unboud app issue ?

have the license from DTS Sound Unbound but when i want to enable it on My audio settings ...says i need to Buy it. what's the issue ?

Just as a heads up, we are currently receiving multiple reports regarding this particular license issue, however, no official announcements have been made by Microsoft or Dolby .In the meantime we can just perform troubleshooting steps.

Full Power cycle

Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button  on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

Once the lights on the front of the console, unplug the power cable from the rear of the console.

Wait at least 30 seconds.

Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button  on the console or the Xbox button  on your controller.

After that test your sound again

Just in case they're restricting this specific in-app purchase

Or if you have a different payment method, could you try using that one instead of the actual to see how it goes?

Same problem I am having I had to switch over to DTS for home theater or DTS surround sound to get IMAX sound format to enjoy my 4 height, channels, Microsoft Igotta fix this issue.

same issue. Also vizio sound bar. no problems with DTS or stereo

I have noticed that there are setting within almost each app. I have not checked the bluray app yet, but would suggest going into setting to see if it has its own sound setting. If there is not a surround mode in the bluray app, try setting your overall
sound setting to 7.1 (or however many channels you have) uncompressed instead of DTS. DTS only works if your source is DTS. Make sure you receiver is set to DIRECT mode as well - not auto surround. What model receiver do you have?

That said, audio overall is not very good right now on xb1.
