    DTS and DTS:X output in stereo


    Most recent Xbox One X software update 10.0.22000.4970 broke DTS. Dolby Digital and Atmos outputs multichannel on audio video receiver. However, DTS and DTS:X outputs in stereo. Reinstalled DTS Unbound App and changed audio setup from Stereo to Surround; still didn't resolve the issue.

    DTS and DTS:X output in stereo

    Reset console and reinstalled DTS Unbound. Dolby Digital and Atmos continues to work, while DTS and DTS:X output remains in Stereo mode.

    Yup, already tried changing the settings in the display and sound section. There is only two options available for optical connections, stereo uncompressed and dts digital surround. Stereo works fine but dts outputs nothing.

    Hi Iam using Yamaha YHT-S401 using optical cable, Xbox one for optical output support stereo and DTS.

    And yes for gaming my soundbar YHT-S401 received DTS signal from Xbox one.

    You need to contact DTS, app makers are responsible for their own apps. Only they have the ability to fix the problem, or work with MS to discover the bug in the OS should that be the issue.
