Ds4 doesnt work many xbox pc gamepass games

I've been a member of the gamepass for quite a few months. Ive had some problems with my ps4 controller because on some games it just wouldn't work.
Some examples:
It worked on both ori games, sea of stars. Astroneer, Hollow knight, Guilty grear strive, Hi fi rush. In some games like Solar Ash, dreamscaper and most importantly Lies of P it just doesnt work, and i'd really like to play this last title.
I'd appreciate some help

You need to download either steam or ds4win as sony doesn't support pc.directly you need to use either of those two apps and contact them.for support

sony don't have open drivers for pc, you need a third party program called ds4 to use it, and it is finicky to work with gamepass games due to microsoft not supporting all controllers for windows store games.

ds4 maps the ps4 controller as a x-input controller to get it to work.

unlike steam that has ps controller support that you enable under steam settings.

as the windows system does not natively support the ps4/5 controller you have to use ds4 which is a program that basically disguises the ps4 controller as an xbox controller, some games in gamepass work, some don't, obviously i have a ps4 controller and have used it for all games on every store except shoddy gamepass.

you will bea ble to use a ds4 or x1 controller with a steambox eventually, if not already. i know you can use the ds4 on pc, so its only a matter of time for the dirvers to be developed for steam os.

as for graphics, honestly if a game is fun it doesnt matter to me. just last month i was playing kotor on the original xbox and i didnt even notice the graphic disparity. i think that is only something you notice if the game isnt very fun.

Why?

Any title in gamepass ultimate arent available on xbox they are the exact same titles all the pc titlea however are play anywhere titles which means they are on both platforms its just an extra benefit

Pc gamepass is a different price since it doesnt need gold but doesnt affect xbox gamepass since the xbox gamepass is bigger and has more titles then the pc gamepass

Not every title is xbox play anywhere but as the pc gamepass is only in beta its still new however xbox gamepass is only 1 dollsr promotion if you do it right yoi can max it out for 3years with the one time upgrade
