Driver needed for Xbox 360 video camera

How do contact Microsoft to ask for a driver that will run the Xbox 360 video camera on a laptop running Windows 10?

I have been looking around the web and found
this thread from a few years ago, with the same question. Windows 10 is a little bit picky on what is compatible and what isn't, so I wouldn't be surprised if your PC doesn't pick up on the camera, when it's plugged in. Have you made sure that your system
and devices are up to date,
via Windows Update? It may be worth making sure, just to get it out of the way.

If you search the web for yourself and find sites offering the device drivers, please don't be tempted to install anything. Only go for the real article, provided by Microsoft.

Here is the Microsoft link for the driver to use the Xbox 360 camera on your laptop. It works for windows 10. I saved the driver to my desktop and also had to go to device manager to manually install the driver. Hope this helped you.

you cannot use the phone as a webcam on console, it lacks the drivers to connect and access the phones camera and most phones need the manufacturer driver/software installed.

you will need to purchase a cheap usb camera.

I am not familiar with that camera at all or if can even be used on the Xbox. Maybe someone will have direct experience and can let you know.
