Dragon's Dogma game breaking bug.

I bought Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen around when it released on Xbox One. I played it for a while, but stopped playing after something else grabbed my attention. I decided to start playing it again and my save was deleted, which is weird since games
usually just save to cloud now. I started a new game anyways and played for a few hours constantly saving throughout the game and turned it off since i was done playing it. I turned the game back on the next day and went through the brightness setting and
subtitle options for whatever reason, hit load game and it started me back at the beginning again. Pretty frustrating, but i started again thinking maybe i messed up somehow. This time i played for another few hours, again saving constantly throughout.
This time, however, i used the save and quit to title screen option to make sure i saved right. I was able to load my game up this time so i shut the game off to play something else. The next day i decide to play some more and my save was deleted AGAIN.
After looking for solutions on how to fix this issue i couldn't find any without using mods, but this is on the xbox one so that isn't happening. So if anyone can help i'd appreciate it, but if everything fails i'd like to get a refund so i can buy something
that actually works. I know since i bought this game a long while ago a refund may not happen, but am I really just gonna have to own a game that is unplayable?

To help clarify the issue: Does this issue only occur with this game?

I have tried the re-adding profile thing as it was suggested to someone else. I've also tried reinstalling the game, power cycling my xbox, even tried using a different profile entirely and it still just deletes the save. I think there were a couple
other things I've tried but i don't remember as they were small and ultimately didn't help.

Thanks for reaching out to us today. Sorry to hear about the current issues with the game. What kind of steps have you tried in regards to trying to resolve this game save issue? Have you tried to
remove and re-add your account? If not I
would recommend trying it out.

Side Note: It is very important to make sure you know the primary email/password to the account before removing it from the console.

In regards to the processing of any refund, you would have to complete a
Refund Request Webform.
After you submit the request, you’ll receive confirmation and follow-up emails that will include instructions on how to keep track of the status of your request.

Perhaps I'll wait for it to get patched...

But then I'm kinda hoping Dragon's Dogma will get patched too as I've had to take a break from that as it's been a bit random with the quests and NPC's, ha!

I like dark souls and dragons dogma. They're both great games. To me, Dragons Dogma is like a better version of Skyrim.
