Dragon Age Inquisition in 900p

I know xbox manager said in a tweet something about having better frame rate is better than very good resolution that's why the game is in 900p on xbox 1 if ime wrong correct me but why can't we have bothe 1080p resolution and good highe frame rate i know
the xbox 1 can do it.

This is what was said ( Xbox boss Phil Spencer has argued that frame rate is significantly more important than resolution.) this is why DAI is 900p not 1080p.

 

How much did it matter to you that the awesome DA:O and its less than stellar (awful IMO) sequel ran at below 30 FPS on the Xbox 360? Or looking at resolutions... didn't you experience the PC versions of those games for higher resolutions? Didn't you? Because
if you didn't... what do you care?

Worry about the gameplay and the story... if something in the visuals and performance on the X1 strikes you as being off, or it affects your enjoyment, then come back and make a post about that.

Like, "Does it bother anyone else the the gameplay is choppy at some points? Or that the low resolution is noticeable during cutscenes, by androids, with crazy eyes that pick up that stuff?"

Because otherwise... dude... who gives a flying pig poo-doo? Who? Who notices? PC guys only notice this stuff after benchmarks and with counters in the corners of their monitors! *cough* Lookin' at you... Cynical Brit *cough* Ya tool. *cough*

 

If I gave half a crap about resolution, I would have just got the game for my PS4. Dragon Age looks great as it is. I really couldn't care less if it looks ever so slightly better somewhere else.

 

I played and completed bothe the first 2 games and there DLC on xbox 360 and loved them they made me want it to be real. But i dont mind it being 900p for better frame rate i will still get it and enjoy it i just saying isent it possible to get bothe good
1080p and frame rate.

They saide they want to use bothe the consoles ps4 xbox 1 full potential they have with ps4 but not on xbox 1 it can do 1080p and good frame rate. But they only chose one at least its not 720p but i dont mind i think 1080p shows more of the visuale bugs
in the game you can see than with 900p & 720p.

So i was just saying cant they have bothe i wasent moneing just asking a question as long as the game is good & fun i dont really care to much either.

 

I hope the next gen versions look better than the 360 incarnation. It looks terrible and the facial animation is worse than in Origins.

Character movement is quite stiff and jerky. There is also a fair bit of texture pop-in.

 

^I didn't experience any of those issues on the Xbox One.

 

That's good to know Sword. I have a inkling that the 360 version is going to suffer issues because Inquisition is a game made for the next gen.

Still it's a little jarring to have the game run worse than Origins which came out in 2009.

Going to see if my laptop can handle the PC version. Might be time to invest in a decent gaming PC once again.

 

If you want res. Then get a PC then. It can do 4K.

 

Just like the consoles it depends on the PC. There is no way that my laptop for example could manage to run a game at playable frames per second at 4k.

Besides, who wants 4k when we have 8k. How about some 8k screenshots of Half Life 2

@Vaynel Dragon Age:I was not made for next gen consoles to begin with. Bioware has said that they started making this game 4 years ago. The only reason the game was delayed was to port it over to Xbox one.

The Xbox 360 does not suffer to run this game at all here are a couple of videos of it....

 

Thought 8K is not out for genrale pubic yet. But when that day comes. It be better then next consoles that just started supported 4K in games.

 

The game looks better than I thought it did on 360. Im very impressed.
