DR3 Completely unplayable

When I bought DR3 originally it worked fine, but about a few months ago it started playing up. To start with walls would turn invisible, objects would float in the air AI would stop working, then I'd fall through the floor. these occurred just after the
13gb update. this basically made the game unplayable. So I put it down, for a few days and came back, now the game wouldn't get passed the loading screen. I tried deleting and re-installing numerous times, after the 5th or 6th attempt. It's loaded, but unsurprisingly
back to invisible walls and glitchy objects and yup you guessed it, falling through the floor.

So when I went online today to play a bit of Tomb Raider, I noticed there was an XBOX update, and thought maybe DR3 is fixed, so i popped the disc in, had the update for that too, only when i went to launch the game, nothing, you click play, it brings it
up full screen for about 2 seconds then back to dashboard. All I can think of now is once again ***-**** about deleting and re-installing again!

Seriously, this isn't just buggy, this is literally, I can not play the game and even when I could get it to load, there were no zombies, AI just stood still objects and walls invisible.

Can someone please tell me what the heck is going on, because I seriously feel like i've lost money on this, actually not lost, more like it's been stolen

Launching games kicks me back to home screen problem.

DR3 got a huge patch last night and now dashboards for me. Ive tried everything here on the boards. I love it when a working game gets updated and becomes completely unplayable....

 

The COD4 disk has officially become a drink coaster.

This sort of thing is happening to me too.

I have gotten past the first "boss" where you take out the guy on the motorcycle, and upon going back into the town all the items on the ground disappear. I go to do one of the side missions and the walls start disappearing. The items can still be picked
up, but they are invisible in my hands and on the ground. All you can see on the ground are names of items. Also, textures either take a very long time to load (look very fuzzy) or they don't load at all. Some of buildings and items on the street are not
present either.

I've reinstalled quite a few times and also I've gotten a replacement Xbox from Microsoft - same thing happens every time. It seems too that this only happens when I get to this point in the story - which is quite weird.

I should mention that I have a Day-One Edition copy of the game (for what that's worth). Please help!

 

I think it might be defective coding in the disc itself because I have a day-one edition of dead rising 3 and I haven't had any problems with my game. If it was possible for you to get a different copy of dead rising 3 to see if it would work correctly,
but other than that I'm sorry I couldn't be of any more help

Having a similar issue it just hangs on the Capcom loading screen and will not budge from there at all. Only game I have on the console and as it stands right now I can't even play it.

 

Try turning off the Quick Launch feature in the XBOX Settings. When the console launched it was marked as BETA. With it turned on DR3 refused to load passes the Capcom logo. After a couple Dashboard updates the feature came out of BETA and was enabled by
default. My mileage varies then and it kept failing until a DR3 patch was also released. Best bet turn that quick launch feature off.
