Downloads intermittently stopping/starting.

An issue i've been having for a while now is that anything i have been downloading, whether it be a new game, game update or DLC, the download inside the My games & Apps menu keeps appearing to pause or stop every ten seconds or so. Like i see the download
speed in the top right of the box, it displays it for a few seconds before disappearing for a few seconds, then appears again at 200 kbp/s or so, speeds up, then completely stops again for the next few seconds, this repeats indefinitely, no matter if i reset
the console, internet or re-connect the xbox to the network.

It's taking forever just to download a simple 1.3gb Halo 5 update and it's pretty frustrating.

Any help appreciated.

always pemding...

when i start download a game if i paly with my brother slipt screen games its stopping and always pending and when im exit the game its starting to download but if i play non-spilt screen games (like mortal kmbat vs dcu) its not stopping pls help!

Need help. Trying to download an update to Lego Dimensions. Keeps saying "Installation stopped. When refreshed, it went back to downloading (error 0x87E00005). Kept stopping and starting.

I'm downloading through the Xbox store on my Xbox One X console. Currently I'm downloading Grand Theft Auto 5, which has been stopping and resuming intermittently for the past 3 hours. I'm currently at 17% (11.4gb of 65.45gb).

So while downloading, it has to be unpacked and installed simultaneously, which explains the pausing of the download, if I understand you correctly?

Yes, I'm having the same problem too, but my problem started when I got the latest preview update and is still continuing to be even more of a problem even after rolling back to a safe update. unfortunately there is no fix that I know of, but let's hope
Microsoft gets it's act together and fixes this problem.
