    Downloading issues with mods for Fallout 4 on xbox series x


    I underlined my main issue but i suggest reading the whole thing to avoid any/all unnecessary questions and/or suggestions

    Ever since the next gen update the mod page has been messed up like my load order not showing up properly on the main screen and my total free space showing a billion gbs in the negative to name a few but the one that erks me the most is some mods especially smaller ones as soon as i click on it to read the discription it immediately exits out of the entire mod section with a message this operation cannot be completed i barely have enough time to scroll down let alone click favorite or even attempt to download it only once have i been able to hit download and back out fast enough to let it download in the background and even then when it was done it still kicked me out this also happens when certain mods i already have installed needs updating i would use bethesda.net for mods if it actually downloaded then to my console and yes i even tried it on the consoles web browser i have tried reinstalling the game and ended up loosing half of my mods to this very same issue im at a loss and dont know what to do

    Mods Fallout 4 on Xbox SS\SX

    While I can appreciate your interest in more mods for Fallout 4, this is really just a community forum and none of the official Microsoft team or Bethesda will see your post. You should try pitching this to them directly.

    In any case, to support more mods Fallout 4 would need to be updated to a full Series X|S title. The recent update is a backwards compatibility X|S update, it's not a native Series X|S title.

    Only the Series X has extra RAM. The Series S has the same amount as the original Xbox One and the One S. Plus, the PC modding community for Fallout 4 generally have PCs with much higher memory availability than what's available to a console.

    Skyrim and Fallout 4 are the only games I know of on the Xbox that support mods.
    Cities Skylines also supports mods but, as with Skyrim and Fallout 4, they are downloaded and installed through the game menus and there is no need to access game files

    If the mod can be downloaded in the game itself , it shouldnt be a problem as skyrim and fallout 4 bith have mods
