Downloading Issues while offline

I live in a poor household, we can't afford wifi so everything we do is offline, or we use mobile hotspot. So we use offline instead now.

I've been trying to download quite a few games lately offline the console downloads 67.7% of the games and it randomly pauses. They disks are brand new so is the console as well. But it's just not downloading all the way through. What is going on with the downloading process? And how do I fix it? Please help. So when we play the Xbox we always play offline.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums! Similar to your console most games due require an active internet connection in order to fully install/update their content. While we understand that your goal is "offline" play you will still need to have an internet connection to complete full installs of your games as well as updating your console.

Really I didn't know that can download DLC while offline, but I know Xbox One can offline while downloading DLC. Can you give me tutorial how to download while offline on 360 console?.

I've never had an issue playing online or offline while my games downloaded, and I have a pretty slow connection.

It could be due to a updating issue. If you have access to a computer and have a jump drive then you can download the offline update save the down load to the jump drive then insert it to the Xbox while its offline.

try going offline, power cycle your console then while offline, insert the disc and allow offline mode download (if its a disc install)
