    Downloading games recently purchased through Microsoft (Xbox)


    I just recently purchased Minecraft through the Xbox store for PC, and when I press the install button through the website nothing happens. I have updated windows 10 to the most recent version as well as restarted my computer post-update though none of those seemed to help. If you could please help me that would be great.

    Are you sure you purchased Minecraft for Windows (the PC version of the game) and not Minecraft (the Xbox version)?

    You would have to purchase it through Microsoft to download it through the xbox store.

    No, these downloads run through the same emulation software as discs on Xbox 360, one purchase entitles you to a download on Xbox 360 and Xbox One. A few of the Star Wars games and Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction were part of Games with Gold recently.

    Also, original Xbox games were also published as part of the "Xbox Originals" program for download on Xbox Marketplace from December 2007-Mid 2009. These downloads make use of that functionality already available on Xbox
    360 for over a decade.

    I'll be contacting Xbox Support again. The issue is simply an incorrect content flag on Microsoft's end.

    As long as the game was purchased digitally through the Microsoft store on your PC then the game should be available for you to download and play on your Xbox One when signed in with the profile that originally purchased it.
