    Downloading games on my Xbox now crashes my internet


    My Xbox One S has developed a serious problem. As of recently, whenever I try to download anything new, it crashes my entire internet.

    What happens is I attempt to download a game, it will go a couple minutes of downloading just fine, at around 90-150 MBPS. But then, it will just suddenly stop and crash the wifi for the entire house.



    I have no problems running games or apps (that are already downloaded) that dont require internet. Only when I attempt to download anything new will cause it to crash.

    Ive attempted several game downloads, each of different sizes and download times, all of which failed and crashed. Ive tried rebooting both the router and Xbox several times, but no luck.

    Ive had this Xbox for years and NEVER had problems with downloading till now.

    What could be the sudden cause of this?? Is it my router or Xbox thats the cause?? And how can I possibly fix it?

    Something else. I never had to download my Xbox 360 profile when I first played an Xbox 360 game in my Xbox One. Why do I have to now. Also why does the downloading go well for a while and crash with an error near the end of the downloading? This Backward
    Compatibility seems to be more trouble than it's worth when the games crash up and cause other problems. I might as well get my Xbox 360 back out if these problems continue.

    I have experienced the same issue on wireless and was told by Xbox support (Microsoft employee) to contact my internet provider and to open some ports. His best recommendation was to use wired connection. As for the bungie server crashes, the game is fairly
    new and other people are still downloading copies causing their server to crash.

    Now it says KMODE Exception not handled. I think it is a problem with the app. When I launch them from the windows store they crash as well. All my games load fine besides the ones I download from the Xbox beta app. Any game I download from the Xbox or
    Xbox Game Pass crashes when loading. Any free game I download from the Microsoft Store runs fine.

    a 36GB game is a 8-12 hour download with my internet speed but the Xbox is not using my full internet for some reason I'm at hour 25 now at 85% so a refund would be pointless now anyways as iI will be in bed soon and it will be download by the time I wake
    up hopefully but I think they should have compressed the game for the download just for people who do not live in the U.S and are yet to get fiber internet in there area
