Downloading from Xbox Website while console is off

Is it possible to download a game from Xbox.com while the console is off? I have heard there's an option on the console to download items while the console is off, if that's true, which if it is, I have not touched it, and so if there is an option, is
its default option to be able to download games while the console is off? The main question still stands: can you download items and have them actually download (not set in queue until you turn it on) from the Xbox website while the console is off?

hi there, I just bought a game last night to download to my console. I was told how to set it to where it downloads with the console off. I set it up and went about other business. This was a game that is almost 6g so I knew it would take awhile. I wanted
to check the status of the download to see how far it had gotten by last night before bed. Look on here in the download qeue and it says it was downloading. I go to turn my console on and it just chimes at me? are you not able to turn it on after you have
set it to download while off? I wake up this morning and it does the same thing and it says on here it is still downloading. I tried turnng it on with the controller and it just blinks at me, tried on the console and it chimes at me.

So long as your console is set to Auto On (when using your voice to turn the console on) it will automatically start the download.

However, the link I provided is a single purchase of the game. If you purchased the Season Pass do not use the link or you will be charged again. Season Pass holders will have to start the download from within the game's menu.

Are they trying to download from the website or the console? If it doesn't work from the both, try EA, but while the account is treated as a child account, its still an adult account and adults can by from the website.

try setting the download from the xbox website with your console off, when you turn on the console will automatically begin downloading the content as it logs on to live, if you have background downloads enabled you are then free to turn off again to leave
it to download. whilst not a direct fix it will offer another way you could force the download since you have already cleared the cache
