Downloading DLC to new console?

Here's the skinny: I'm going to college next week, and my room mate is bringing his. I also can't bring my xbox 360 or hard drive because I share it with my dad and brother, but all I can bring are my games. Three of those games are Fallout 3, Skyrim, and
New Vegas. On those games I have all the dlc, but since it's tied to my hard drive, I don't know how I'll be able to use them. Is there a way for me to get my dlc up at college on my friend's xbox through the cloud or putting it on a flash drive? I won't be
transferring it between accounts, just on my account through a different xbox

Quit to Main Menu issue.

Yea downloading the new DLC pack has fixed this issue for me now.

DLC is tied to your account. So you can redownload it from your download history on the new console.

That's on the right track, but not entirly correct.

The account that originaly downloaded the DLC needs to be on the new console, needs to do a license transfer and redownload of the DLC.

The license transfer is the key, as all DLC is tied to the gamertag AND console originaly downloaded onto. Once license is registered to new console, all other accounts should be able to access it.

Okay and as far as the DLC content, etc. can I use the usb to plug in the new console and go to download history and download again on the new console?

Ok, if the new console is going to be your main console then you will need to do the license transfer to move your gamertag and all associated DLC licenses over to the new one.

However, you don't need to use the transfer cable to move all your content. Simply redownload the content from your download history. This way, you will have all your DLC on the old console and on the new console. Anyone will be able to use the DLC on
the new console and only your tag will be able to access the DLC on the old console.

To make the DLC 'belong' to your new console, which will enable your son to use it again, you will have to run the

License Migration Tool.
