    Downloading an Update is Taking Forever


    Hi, I've been trying to download an update for Shadow of Mordor for the past few days. It downloads VERY slowly and every time I have turned my console off (only on sleep mode) and turn it back on the following day the download starts back at 1% I tried
    uninstalling the disc and reinstalling it onto my internal hardrive. (It was on an external harddrive before) but so far it's hasn't even hit 1% on the disc installation. Any help with this would be great.

    Downloading takes forever

    Having the exact same problem. Only downloading an update for something is taking forever!

    I ended up restarting my router and once my Xbox reconnected to the internet it jumped to 80% installed and finished shortly after. The update didn't take very long either afterwards.

    Delete out the update and try to do it over again, if you still havent gotten it to fully download yet.

    Greetings Phantum and madmainemoose,

    While I understand that you have fast internet, sometimes the modem itself can slow things to a crawl.. It's unfortunate, but not all modems are compatible with Xbox One.

    For more information, please have a look at

    If your modem is not listed, then it is more than likely not compatible.. But if it is listed, then hopefully there will be some technical advice there to help speed things up for you.

    Do a detailed network statistics test in settings under the network tab and post your results.
