Downloaded Xbox original game

Hi,

This error occurs when your hard drive is not an official Microsoft hard drive. Original Xbox games run on a software emulator, this software is only included on a official Xbox 360 hard drives.

It won't work on:

• knock off or otherwise non-official hdd's.
• USB Flash drives
• USB Hard drives

I don't think that GTA San Andreas will work when downloading to a flash drive since it's an original Xbox game. Original Xbox games require an original Xbox 360 hard drive to play.

Is it giving an error message saying you need to download the game or is it asking you to download an update?

An update is needed in order to let games designed for the original Xbox to run on the 360, for this you'll need a Live connection and an official 360 hard drive.

Hey there, so are you using the original console that you downloaded the game on and are you using the original account that downloaded the game?

It sounds like you might need to do a license transfer as I believe downloaded games won't work offline if it's not on the original console you downloaded it and if you're using an account other then the profile that originally purchased it.

After you do a license transfer you would need to re-download the game for it to fully take affect, steps here:
