downloaded skyrim a while back. now its saying cannot launch? what do i do?

Discus and support downloaded skyrim a while back. now its saying cannot launch? what do i do? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; unable to play skyrim, it was a downloadable game, full game, from last year, not played it for a while, now its saying unable to launch.     downloaded skyrim a while back. now its saying cannot launch? what do i do?


    unable to play skyrim, it was a downloadable game, full game, from last year, not played it for a while, now its saying unable to launch. Any ideas?

    Yeah same problem here. How do I get my profile back. Its is saying Sorry, XBOX LIVE profiles can't be downloaded right now. Try again later. 80150100.

    What should I do?

    What do you do while you are at the loading screens?

    I cook fried rice, eat, do the dishes, go to the bathroom and come back to the couch before the loading screen is done loading. Its amazing how much stuff I get done while playing Skyrim!

    Just a quick question?

    Because it is being downloaded in game it will stop when you back out of that screen. it has been this way on all games since the XBOX 360 launched. it's stupid, but that is the way it is. the only way to bypass this is to do what I and my freinds do, we
    start the download then we quit to dash to go Account management and downlaod history and select the download there and start it again. now it will download in the background while you do other things.

    Pretty much what Daz3 said, but usually they do. When they do, it can anywhere from a few weeks in advance to just 24 hours before launch. Keep checking back on your game's launch page for information on when its ready to pre-download.

    The theory is good, but with the disappointing launch of Stadia I don't think it can do what its supposed to do. Will be a while before it can really replace consoles.
